LIVING ATTENTIVELY puts forward two issues. First, we shine the focus of Respectonomics, a process of giving dignity and respect to the least and the greatest of any business organisation. The circumference is without limit, its radius is dignity, and the centre is purpose. Respectonomics is the call to Live Attentively. The second issue we put forward twists convention: what if we were to consider employees as customers? How would we offer value? How would this be a premise for “repeat business”? And what would it mean for referrals? Should this be a template for empowerment? Let us raise the conversation. Jeremy Wentworth Stanley is your Voice of Respectonomics. Respectonomics through the Living Economics platform considers the backing – or the underlay – of major traded currencies. We examine how fiat currencies have morphed out of the original gold backed variety. We test the confidence in a currency, as would be associated with the underlying economy and the integrity of its central bank. The strident expansion of the money supply, connected to rising governments’ deficits, throws down a gauntlet of risk. Living Economics, a platform of Respectonomics, provides bi-weekly assessments of economic and financial issues. The analysis is timely, straightforward, relevant, unvarnished and actionable. Your Voice of Respectonomics, Jeremy Wentworth-Stanley, draws on more than fifty years in the investment industry, developing the creed of “making the obvious obvious before it becomes obvious”. What are your reflections and ideas? Would you pass them back to us? And share the message please. jeremy@respectonomics.com

This episode exposes shortages as an outcome to the middle east conflagration since February 2026. Aside from obviously higher gas prices, there are the interrupted supplies of, for example, aluminum, urea, helium, sulphuric acid, and LNG distillates. These will form blockages into the supply chain, which will have a knock-on effect on the production of fertiliser, plastics, and even the operation of MRI equipment. Economically prices would rise. Morally galling is the denial of life-support to countries which lack the necessary capital or safety nets. What are your reflections and ideas? Would you pass them back to us? And share the messageplease. jeremy@respectonomics.com
